Meet the Team
Much More Than Your Regular Chefs
Who we are at The Cycling Cook extends well beyond the founders. We are chefs, bakers, decorators, assistants, managers and above all joyful and passionate foodies. Meet the staff that makes The Cycling Cook the amazing company that it is, and feel free to come visit us or contact one of our experts with any question. We will be happy to help you.

Darrick Krause
Executive Chef
Chef Darrick is the inspirational and creative side of our company. But he also runs most of our day to day operations, including managing our events and leads our cooking classes. Darrick's career really took off following his time on Fox TV's Masterchef (Season 9) with Gordon Ramsay.
When Darrick isn't in a kitchen he spends his time on a litany of adventures ranging from embracing his Viking heritage, traveling with his wife, Ashley, and participating in triathlon events.

Ashley Krause
Co-Owner/Sous Chef
Ashley has been a vital part of The Cycling Cook since its inception, and lives to make our clients’ palates happy. She is the first to open the shop and prepare ingredients, and quite frankly, we’d be lost without her! She also takes special pride and joy in our grazing tables' and charcuterie boards' design. But her favorite part of the job is managing our four-legged employees/taste testers.

Kitchen Aids
Our four-legged partners are our children, our taste testers, and our supervisors. If you ever cook in our kitchen, plan to be monitored by Maggie and Benedict. Benedict is happy to sample foods from zoodles to loaves of bread. Maggie will ensure the floors are kept free from any food debris. Remy prides himself in critiquing plate presentation (especially if there are carb offerings).
